GKB OPTICALS REOPENS WITH A BRAND NEW LOOK AT SOUTH CITY

After a considerable amount of time which seemed like ages for all Kolkata folks, South City has finally opened its doors again. I visited the recently re-launched store of GKB Opticals situated in South City Mall and had an amazing tour of the revamped and well-furnished store. GKB Opticals being the number 1 optician in this great shopping destinationhas ushered in a new experience in optical dispensing. With the new location on Ground Floor, right next to Pantaloons, the 1600 sq. ft store is not to be missed by any shopper once they step into South City Mall.

This store wears a prim and modern look, which is very unique to every other GKB store. Doing away with the black wall units along with the beige marble flooring, the store now holds white acrylic wall units with a conservative grey scale checkered flooring and is completely surrounded by track lights to ensure the clarity of the eyeglasses & sunglasses on display.

GKB South City beingamong the top flagship stores in the country has been bestowed witha brand new luxury unit, the Lindberg Zone. This zone stands out from the rest in terms of its chic look as well as classy offering. Made from the finest wood& acrylic with a glossy finish, this zone displaysbrands such as Cartier, Porsche Design, DITA, Maybach, Frency& Mercury, Mont Blanc. Lindberg being an important luxury brand within the GKB family, the entire decor (2 wall units, mirror, visuals, dispensing table, chairs) has been shipped from its head-quarters in Copenhagen, Denmark. All the chairs in the store are made so as to provide perfect lumbar support with fine grade cloth for its upholstery.

The billing process too has been made simple and hassle-free. This is now possible with the new POS system installed in the eye-testing room. With the entire store WI-FI enabled all customer info & prescription will be uploaded right from the start of the consumer journey.
